The unwritten rule of Coachella: if you didn't post it, you weren't there. At Coachella in 2026, Pinterest asked people to break that rule.
Guests locked their devices at the door and stepped into a phone-free space we built for being present. Inside, they handmade things with friends and walked away with physical keepsakes instead of full camera rolls. People are tired of being online for the sake of being online. They want their time on a screen to actually push them out into the real world.
